Pius Fox stapelt vaak één verflaag op vele andere. Geometrische of abstracte vormen ontmoeten elkaar op tachistische kleurvlakken. Emotionele penseelstreken gaan een dialoog aan met uitgewerkte figuratieve vormen. Zijn beelden brengen zelden meer dan twee tegenstrijdige elementen samen. Dit spel van tegengestelde elementen gaat door in de verf. Subtiele pittoreske kleurvlakken worden over elkaar heen gelegd en doorboord door met potlood rechte lijnen, rasters of decoratieve elementen te tekenen.
Pius Fox studeerde in 2010 af aan de UdK (Universiteit voor de Kunsten) in Berlijn met een BA bij professor Frank Badur en een masterclass bij professor Pia Fries. De Berlijnse schilder heeft solotentoonstellingen gehad in Parijs, New York, Londen en Berlijn, en is opgenomen in vele internationale collecties in Europa en de VS. Momenteel woont en werkt hij in Duitsland.

Pius Fox often stacks one layer of paint on top of many others. Geometric or abstract shapes meet each other on tachistic color surfaces. Emotional brushstrokes enter into a dialogue with elaborate figurative forms. His images rarely bring together more than two contradictory elements. This play of opposing elements continues in the paint. Subtle picturesque areas of color are superimposed and pierced by drawing straight lines, grids or decorative elements in pencil.
